Hi all,
It's great to see so many G lovers in one place.
I have owned my 1987 300 GD (Gun Metal Grey) LWB for 8 years. We as a family have had some great fun and feel it has been a big part of the family. However due to the family dog (Harley - German Shorthaired Pointer) recently leaving us for the dog pound in the sky, it is now time to find a new owner for the G.
As I have said I have owned the G for 8 years, it is the slowest car i have ever driven but the one i have had the most amount of fun in. I have never had the chance to really use this vehicle off road, it has only been used in and arround London as a family and dog carrier. I have had the same mechanic maintain the vehicle for the whole 8 years and it has never cost me any fortunes to keep on the road. It has just done 100K miles. The bodywork is now tired (rust in normal places - rear door, light clusters etc.) and requires lots of tlc to restore. I have full history and every MOT, prehaps this vehicle will be of interest to one of you
Many thanks for reading this post
