300 GD 1989...Rev counter has stopped spinning, but shows the odd, intermittent flicker...it has electric push connectors behind. Is the fault with the clock? or at the other end. Where do the wires lead? How is the clock removed from the plastic front sorround?
Thanks -Dil

Rev counter

just get your fingers nails behind the clock and pull it out, it has a rubber gasket around it so it fits snug into the cut out. Or unscrew the back panel of the bezel and push clock out from behind. Not sure where wires lead to on diesel but have noticed a common problem with the rev counters. In my opinion rev counters are a waste of time. we all know if were thrasing it or not. I would replace it with a good oil pressure gauge, Thats more important I feel.
