I have had my G for about a year and the exhaust looks a bit fragile. There seem to be lots of prices and opinions around. For my 463 300GES the cheapest price seems to be through Powerflow, should I just go with this or has anyone had bad experiences....cost seems to be about £350 fitted...javascript:emoticon('')

Not bad people to deal with, but a few pointers:
1)Watch them do it - if they won't let you, go to another powerflow agent
2)Make sure they excecute the bends neat and tidy - no crumpling of the pipe!!!
3)Think beforehand how and where you want the exhaust to go and exit - also mounting points and see that they do it properly...
4)Finally, but most important, agree the price beforehand!!!

I've had numerous dealing with them with different vehicles and different branches.

One exhaust's mounting on my sprinter failed. Another case we agreed £400 all-in, but afterwards wanted £600 plus vat!!! All sorted out well in the end though. And definately 10 good experiences for very 1 bad.
All-in-all not a bad option - we ought to get together and arrange a discount for every single clubmember, as I suggested in August 2004 in the parts forum.
If no-one in the lead wants to, I'll take it up with powerflow uk, if I am authorised to do so...!?!?!?!?!? (Don't exactly want to step on toes here

I had a powerflow exhaust fitted on my swb 280 from the first box back. I asked them to divert the tail pipe out under the rh wheel arch and not over the tank cost £250 and so far ok, but the usual meat head exhaust fitter with attitude and tattos, and would not let me under ramp for health and safety reasons gives you and idea of what quality you may be getting.while I was there (St Albans Branch) 2 other people were back for repair work and some naughty words been exchanged which did leave me wondering. I have off-roaded twice since and it and still going strong.

It was quite involved making the bends but did ok for the money, if you want a rolls royce exhaust then you will pay the price.

Eeeerrrmmmmmm  , don't know about big, but yes I am selling a few bits. Was a bit of a difficult choice whether to post them all here or go with ebay. In the end what made me go with ebay was that I was getting requests and offers all over the place and treating everyone fair was going to become a nightmare. So I decided to go with ebay and give everyone an equal chance...
Also, it is a controlled environment in which to resolve disputes and makes the change-over of money and parts a reasonably straightforward one.
I just hope I didn't anger anyone in doing so.
Comments are most welcome - positive and negative - It takes a LOT to offend me, so fire away... 8)
