rear brakes on 463 upgrade to discs
hi has any one upgraded there rear brakes to discs on a lwb 463 and what fits

Hi you will find disc brakes on most late model G's come as standard.the handbrake uses shoes inboard of the discs...might be a axle change!....
and enormous cost as these are simply not available as a salvage item
Something I've been thinking of doing on my 460 for some time sick of having to strip rear drums down and clean after offroading Unimog 406 rear caliper are perfect in every way apart from there to large there must be some car out there with the write rear calipers
Check our ORC.de,
They do a conversion that is bolt on but you lose your ABS braking as there is no sensor to opperate it.
This is a MOT/ NCT fail issue I understand if the vehicle came with ABS as standard fit like on 463 models.

Confirming Sprinter r/axle disc brakes easy upgrade [not an issue at local mot station]
This is correct,easy upgrade if you want [80% of braking on front axle] plenty of parts in the local scrapyard
I want to upgrade w463 rear disc brakes from Sprinter. How I understand now problem...
Q. All is ok with handbrakes too?
ABS do not need because interested in offroad car and in mud ABS makes worse...
