Is that something wrong? I need about 14 liters per 100 km (110-120km/h)
Your expiriance ?

Cheers

that's in the region of 20 mpg in our money or even less which is very poor indeed, what other factors are there, heavily laden, lots of climbs, very wide tyres? Try another calculation with an average speed of 80/90 km/h, the hand book should give you a predictable average at different speeds, the urban/extra urban mix that makes up the EU combined average figure.
Hi any diesel leaks? does vehicle roll freely? - no binding brakes...aircon compressor problems...steering alignment....
Ive had a few auto/tip 270cdi ml's, 12-15mpg towing and 20-25mpg day to day running and 25-30 mpg on a long run, I would have said 20mpg was about right in something that's as aerodynamic as a brick!
a brick with a modern cdi engine should give you between 24-30 mpg combined..
my 460 cabrio gives 24-26 mpg with the 606 td engine
As ive said huss ive had three 270 ml's over 6years thats what they all done.....
must admit that i have a light foot though....
i could easily drop to 17-18 i guess...

Just driven back to my home in an addition to the family a G270cdi LWB. Average for the 227 mile trip was 31.8 MPG. We are not allowed to exceed 110 kph here!!!
Fuel economy drops drastically above 110km/h. Also MB extra-urban figures are NOT motorway speeds but about 90km/h if memory serves...
It is real calculation, no board computer. Fill and drive. Computer check injector flow done, pump pressure fine.
