I was driving on the Autobahn A2 this afternoon... got 147km/h, 90.7mph (sat nav) up a hill near Hanover!!! For the engine's sake, i will never do that again!!!

No problems. With Roly's G300 Diesel Auto we hit the ton (100 mph/160 kph) various times in our way to the Merklingen 25th Anniversay celebrations while Ian was doing a celebratory full moon to the guys in the other G :lol:
It had then 188 k miles and still going strong today!
I am glad to say that all my engine troubles are gone...
I can do 150km/h on the highway now...
the problem was that the throttle linkage had to be adjusted to fully open the dieselpump.

I was drivng when it was doing 100 mph, with roly closely looking over my shoulder!, you could see the blood slowly draing from his face the faster I went, it was like watching the mercury in a thermometer !

Doing a full moon while driving at 100mph? How were you reaching the accelerator pedal??? Or dare I ask...

well, i remember it took more than a minute to reach 60 in my 460 300gd!!
