Where is the outside temp sensor located?

OK done a search but can't find it so for all you guru's out there....

Where is the outside temp sensor located on a G500? The past few cold days it has not been registering correctly (saying is 6 degrees when I know its in the minus numbers!) and I am wondering if it is either dirty or needs changing.

In some of the old mercs it used to be on the right side wing mirror and on inspection there are two small holes on the underside of mine. Is this where the sensor is?

Also should one clean it /wipe it down clear the holes and if so any advice on how to do it?

Hi try looking behind the front bumper end cap on the curb side ..a small probe with a single bolt fixing and a black cable. erratic readings can be caused by a bad earth/ground connection.......

Did you find that sensor? I think have the same problem. Some time reading wrong temperature.
