G WAGEN STOLEN IN DEVON/CORNWALL AREA reg no.A719JBY
A friend of mine bought Mark Woodmans G ,but the car had been left on a farm near Trewidland in Cornwall. This friend of mine (Mike Beamish) has just gone into the RAF. He was having difficulty picking the G up as it was in need of a paint job and a few repairs. Its a 460 hard top in biege primer with an italian diesel engine complete with compomotive wheels. This car was last seen on the 25th of september at Trehere farm. If you are in possession of the car you may have bought it on the cheap. We would also give some money to get the G returned without the police getting involved.
yours faithfully

These are some pictures of the stolen truck:
Good luck.
The reason I bought a G (amongst other things)was that I tought they would never be stolen as they were not desirable. Now 2 stolen in the last 6 weeks. There maybe be people watching this site that have intensions of stealing g-wagens. I suggest we be careful from now on with our details and replies :( for security reasons. I am in the AMOR club and in there club magazine they are very careful what they say when they go on camping weekend for this reason.
hi, i'm mike beamish. the G is mine. does anyone know where this G is? the Reg No is A719 JBY. The Vehicle is registered to me and will now be reporte3d as stolen. any help in this would be much appreciated.
I just got a PM from Mr Beamish as follows:
hi, is there any way of you finding out where this g wagen is, or who posted the images of it. i really want to get it back, but when i tell the police, they'll want to know where it is... thanks mike beamish
In response to your question, I was the one who posted these pictures in the forum. These were sent to me by the previous keeper of the vehicle, Mr Mark Woodman, on or before the 07 January 2003, which is the date when the pictures were last saved in my hard disk. I obviously have nothing to do with your car being stolen and the only reason for me to have posted these in this forum is to help people identify the car if they see it.
Another important note: soft top 460 G-Wagens in RHD are extremely rare in this country, with only a handful of 300GDs sold so if one is offered one of this it should be immediately investigated.
Good luck and I hope that you find it
hi, mikes friend here, dont think he was implying you nicked it jesus ? , spoke to scouse g before, we appreciate the pictures being put on, we know it will help mike find his g, cheers. can you email all southern members about this matter ? if so this would be good keep on truckin
hi jesus. when i saw the photos,i thought they were after it had been stolen, thats why i was asking if you knew how to find out who posted the pictures. sorry if i didnt make it very clear. I wasn't accusing you of stealing it! thanks for posting the pictures anyway. It'll help people identify it.
to lighten the mood a little and for those that remember Harry Enfield...
Calm down! Calm down! :P sorry i just got that vision.
I hope you find it...good luck
Has this G been found yet?
If not, could we get the chassis/VIN number please?
Cloning and subsequent change of equipment/wheels/reg.no is a quick matter; not so with the chassis number on a G!
I and others here come accross and look at many G's and may well find it sooner or later...
Good Luck with finding it!!!
I think these are the pictures of the stolen truck.
Good luck with the search.
Now 2 stolen in the last 6 weeks
Which was the other? Did I miss something?
thats my baby
still not had any word about it... its somewhere!!
i'll just have to start lookin out for it whilst i'm flyin round..
well at least some of us work for a living!!!! as long as i'm flyin round at 100ft, wearin Night Vision Goggles, i'm happy. then i'l drive home in a new G55 ......... One Day!
i'd like to resurface this stolen g if any body has seen it in the cornwall area. you know how busy people can be and not realise there's a stolen truck in front of them. many thanks
