Hello everybody! Ive just joined up as Ive decided I need another expensive to run car to add to the others especially when im saving for a house... so, a G makes perfect sense.. Hopefully will sell the other old cars and just keep the G, I do lots of miles plus will want to off road it, so not sure if this is not some sort of finanial suicide mission! Trouble is I cant decide wether i really need a 5 door or just a 3dr.. but I know she must be a diesel, any suggestions gladly recieved! Regards, Ian.

Re: Newcomer!

Hi And welcome!

Depending on what your circumstances are (family man or single?) , the 5 door makes an all round good driving car - less 'choppy' than the SWB and doubles up as a good family practical car and one can still have fun with off road.

Re: Newcomer!

Welcome. Mick the digger's SWB 460 'OIL' would seem like a good option. It's going to be one of the more economic G's what with the 617A engine and is off road prepped. Check out the G's for sale section. Good luck.
