Hello

This is my first post as a new member. I bought a 1988 230 GE from a friend who has had it in his barn for the last two years, with slightly more faults than I originally thought!! The transmission slips from second into third (auto) so I will be taking into my friendly specialist whom I supply with transmission fluids. New back box, front discs, rear shockers/springs and some bits and she'll be back in for another MOT. The usual rear panel rust is to be sorted too. I have located a driver's seat cover from a Mercedes Main dealer, unless any member knows where they can be obtained more cheaply ( been quoted £78 ) ? The rev counter isn't working-anyone know why? Will post some pics when I get it back! This is a new area for me as I have a small collection of coupes, estates and convertibles, all Mercs, so i'm expecting some challenges!!
