Australian 230GE
Just thought I would post a shot of my 1987 230GE SWB. Shot was taken at the Local Mercedes-Benz club Concours a few years back.
It has the Getrag 5 speed and yes it is playing up, no syncro in third. Other mods are the bull bar with winch (which is very important as we have a lot of trouble with Kangaroos around where we live) and the snorkle.
I has the Getrag 5 speed. Pls explane. Is it a mod you carryed out?
4 speed was standard, 5 speed a cost option
In Australia the 230 GE was only available in Auto or 5 speed manual (Getrag)
