I like to share some of the ideas I have recently developed and applied on the G's. I dont claim they are unique, some are good copies of whats been done somewhere else. it is good to share and care 8)

Aim of the whole thing is both G's can share the towing accessories and the winch with convenience.
They both have 2x odysseys installed for auxilary and for starter
controlled with a charging relay. (was mentioned in depth before)
Both cars will be ready for action.

Very good Welders with very good welding machines. This one was as big as 2xwashing machines. God bless good friends.

I like to have my cars in top condition and ready for advanture I can reach premium OFF ROAD areas within 5 minutes. I might even use them for advanture trips, camping trips etc (renting the G and the driver with full equipment). Safari in Cyprus. Sea side, mountains, anything you may want really.
As you can see American receiver is a very good solution for me.

your high lift jack is not as secure as you may think, a small padlock can very easily be forced with a screw driver or knocked off with a hammer, I like the design though

:o Hey Ian, this one started as a small job when my rear door hinge came off with a piece of corroded pillar, and the car ended up on the operation table for an all over check up and new paint was inevitable, but now the body work has been done very throughly (took them over 6 months) It is not wrong to say this G has been completely refurbished now.
I will send pix of the body work restoration later

I agree that I will need more security in a hostile enviroment but paddlock is enough for occasional excursions. I will get a bike frame for that set up.instead of the jack I will put the bikes up there. this system works better than a roof rack, because you dont need a roof rack !
when it is not needed all comes off in seconds and goes in the boot.
the butterfly nut compresses the jack against the tyrewall and achieves a very strong mounting, no vibration at all.

Looking great in the sun! Masha Allah. Is that the same 460 that was silver? What a difference a fresh paintjob makes, not that it was lacking in the first place mind you. Keep up the good work and photos!

Shukran brother, silver 460 was Husseins. My one was always this colour but now they applied the latest merc red colour on it which is a bit more different than my original. Huss should know more about these colour codes than I do.

I am working on the 460 rear bumpers -how to make them stronger for the farm jack (discreetly) and also will make discreet reinforcement panels/ points under the running boards to use with the farm jack.
The front tow hitch adapter can be used as a lifting point very easily.

Ah I see...memory is getting to me, age not what it used to be! Add to that Huss's 463 is almost your colour and you get one confused guy ;)

Re: new mods -done and to be done for my g's

Cool let us know how it goes. I kept the original setup, my G is a handful keeping right the stuff that wants to go wrong...but for a hotter climate it certainly makes sense.
