Sheikh Maktoum's new car
The new G of course!
I do love that new grill
Hmmm! Anybody offering factored versions for retro-fit yet?
But as a matter of curiosity, is the radiator matrix visible through those horizontal bars or is there a secondary screen in between? I assume the latter, but you never know with Graz!
There is a secondary screen which is just barely visible in the first gap on the top left of the above pic.
If you're on a high speed connection you can see it on this G320.
What I want to know is if that is a regular G55K or an "extra special" one like his previous G6.3. Modificata - any pics of the rear?
:D :D :D :D
AWESOME :!: :!:
thanks for sharing :?
stunning - thanks for sharing!!
impressive grill looks very good me agrees
Looked pretty 'stock' to me. I'm on the left.
i want one!!
it is stock, those wheels r fitted to the 2009 G55, see last copy of g wizz
I wounder how much would he ask for his private numberplate
Not of much use in Tenerife, though
is that not the plate that famously sold for something like $14million?
ill have a check....
nope i was wrong, i was thinking of the Abu Dhabi one, different car sadly.....
Number 1
Tom
i could only afford it if one of the following happens...
1. I won the Euro Million top prize
2. An unknown relative leaves me a massive amount of inheritance
Both are going to happen in my dream tonight... FOR SURE!!
Ya that new grill is growing on me.
But I find it strange how they now colour code the fog light surrounds (granted due to oval shape) but not the parking sensors. Those black dots just look funny...
I see he still has the two extra aerials on the back...
If I order a car like that I would definitely change the mud flaps they look so s.... simple.
The off road club I belong to was running a 'recovery workshop' for those that are new to driving in the sand dunes. We get everybody stuck in a variety of different positions/problems and then go through the processes of recovering them. This day we did it near the Sheikh's farm and he pootled up to see what was happening. He's very approachable and is often seen driving round Dubai alone. It was nice to see this figurehead/VIP driving around his 'manor' without the need for an entourage of hangers-on, security etc...
Mike the club wouldn't happen to have a website, would it?
Yes, it's www.me4x4.com.
Thank you, I hope to take a closer look next time I'm around.
and it's been spotted again:
Like a Jeep's gonna get that far into the desert and still have a full pot of coffee in the back! Philistines.
lol you clearly haven't been to that neck of the woods yet...we sometimes carry a 3-course meal and cook it in the middle of nowhere...coffee and dates are the minimum for a small outing in Arabia!
He really is a genuine and nice guy. You often find him travelling around without his bodyguards and mixing with locals. He is genuinely loved by the people. Can you imagine Gordon Brown doing something like that?
Actually yes - whether he would make it to the end of the road, is another matter........
Spider1V
I like the number plate "1". I also like the concept of riding about in my PJs with a Nespresso machine in the back (not being sarcastic, just looks like a very comfy way to travel).
Speaking of number plates, this was on mbworld.org also on Dubai plates
Thanks MiNUAE. I didnt have pics of the rear. So whats the story with you and the Sheikh's car?
I have to admit both the grill and the wheels are growing on me. But the grill only looks good in chrome.
