I am contemplating changing the diff oils on the G300,auto.but having checked underneath the car could not locate anthing for the central diff.
Question is
Is there anything underneath facilitating the central diff oil change ?
Thanks a lot in advance

The central differential is encased in the transferbox, so change the oil in the transfer and you'll have serviced the differential as well. You need the same 14 mm hex key that you need for the diff oil change. As a precaution, undo the filling plugs first; you don't want to do the draining one first and then discover that you cannot loosen the others and end up oilless and stranded...

Thanx Mortınson , I am glad to hear that because the axles, gearbox and the transfer case were all servıced a year ago, so only thıng left ıs the dıff lock oıl change. As a frequent off roader how frequent do you servıce your dıffs and the rest ? Is once a year suffıcıent ?

Re: 300 GE differential bleeding

Once a year is too often for the kind of mileage that I now do (some 4,000 miles p.a.). I check levels and quality every 4 to 6 months but only replace those fluids every 20.000 kilometres or so....
