Re: RHD Worker prototype?

Very interesting
very ackward handbrakes
what way does the gear selector work?
I gather since full time 4WD one now selects low on the main gear shift
Wittering as usual
PS
A bit lost looking on those wee wheels

And Sniff,-- an electric winch

Well, the handbrake has obviously not been moved from the side in the LHD version.

The gearbox is automatic. And the hi-low are engaged by means of the electric switches you see right in front of the gearlever, where also the three diff-lock switches are.

And now I remember that threse are at least two other RHD workers, one armoured, the other not (pictures in the following thread)...

You are right... the wiper pattern for both the G in the Graz inspection area and the armoured one look like LHD whereas the other white G clearly a RHD wiper pattern.... I now wonder if the former two are really RHDs!

Doubt if it would be allowed on the road in Australia with that wiper pattern. Bad mistake at the factory if it is RHD. That said some NEW Peugeot come to NZ with RHD steering and LHD wiper pattern. Dangerous to drive.

Morty
Are we sure that it is RHD. Your interior picture on your first post appears to show what could be the base of the steering wheel at the top of the pic.
Can also be seen on one of Dutch's interior pics of a LHD worker.

Re: RHD Worker prototype?

sorry i am confused - the first pictures Morty posts are clearly LHD? you can see the steering wheel propping up the blue book in the first pic and at the top of the second pic.

so why are the wipers backwards?

Uh Oh. You should not be confused 'cause you are entirely right. Obviously either your eyesight or your powers of observation are superior to mine: the firsts two pics show a LHD Worker.

And I am pretty sure that the armoured one is a LHD too, given that it's got a LHD wiper pattern.

But this one looks definitely RHD:

So, is there just one RHD Worker prototype?

Well having just asked myself this, I can anwer myself: Well, no. Unless one considers that a Worker must be white. These are pictures of a RHD military Greenline which is exactly like a Worker, but obviously painted green.

So no excuses there: if for example the British Highways Agency wanted to buy a batch of RHD Workers they'd just need to signe the cheque....

Why April 1st?

That white non-armored one from DVD show is for sure a RHD Worker. There were also photos of two RHD Workers used as samples for the Ausie Army on P3.

Re: RHD Worker prototype?

Yes, I know what is April 1st and I also remeber the RHD G320CDI joke. But a RHD Worker is not a joke for sure.
