Hello from sunny Hampshire
Hello everyone, after a brief struggle with technology, I thought I should indroduce myself (Hi I'm Phil) and my G.
It's a 300GD auto, about 80k fitted with a variety of tyres but otherwise in pretty good shape, sump guard made from tank armour and some custom rear bumpers and the previous owner (Andover area) also fitted some Ford (bleugh) seats for extra comfort. I've now re-foamed the original seats to make them more comfy and just need some runners so I can re-fit them. It's proving to be a strong and reliable vehicle and I'm looking forward to getting some decent tyres so I can go and play in the mud. Few bits need sprucing up, front wing rubbing strips are missing as are the rear door badges and an air vent cover. It's much better than the Defenders etc I spend my days fixing, but you all know that anyway.
Hi welcome to the forum. Is the reg plate from the UK?
I'm thinking it's KTL 97Y, look forawrd to seeing you playing off road mate
Welcome to the forum and enjoy your G.

Hi Phil G ...welcome to the forum ...I have serviceable "as removed" rubbing strips and a vent cover with one peg broken...I would like GBP 50 for the three items....postage about GBP 15 from Northern Ireland. side and rear door badges for the 300GD from MB are not over -expensive.. there you go!!! "tidied already" I see that the strip over the windscreen is missing ...the one I have has a damaged end cap....is yours for the postage......
welome mate!
you will not turn back......... landrover owner, was that :?:
Remember to park the G out the front of the office at work so the landy owners get to see it 8)
It is a lot of fun, just been down a very narrow lane that I was told was impassable.... by a Land Rover driver....
Nothing like laning with a Land Rover driver. It is surprising how much narrower Gs are - there are enough routes that LRs can't pass due to the extra couple of inches.
Hi Phil please read your PM....

Hello, it is indeed a Y reg but with a hastily edited plate for another nefarious purpose.
