These guys seem to take auto trans oil change very seriously - they clean, flush and refill with the new ATF 134. Anyone tried this ? They also have a list with equipped garages (customer list).

I don't know about this guys but you will find most intersting what they say about one of the pics on the website:

Quote:
AMG G55 Kompressor und G55 Kurz Sauger (einer von 12 die jemals gebaut worden sind).

AMG G55 Kompressor and G55 SWB N/A (one of just 12 evermade)

So yours must be one of those 12 too. :D

Re: Flushing your automatic transmission

Thanks, saw that - But around '00/'01 the early AMG special series Gs were quite popular in Japan (LHD). So I am not sure about the no. of only 12 SWBs built.

Don't know whether they built a SWB 63.

Re: Flushing your automatic transmission

Thanks for the info Octo. In true fact all the AMGs I have seen in Japanese websites are LWB so I would not immediately regard the 12 unit statement as wrong.

As for a G63 SWB, well, they sold so very few of the LWBs (due to the price, obviously) that I don't think any SWB was ever made
