One of mine is split. The actual joint is OK so I would like to clean it out, repack it and fit a new boot.

Went to the local motor factors and he looked at me as if I was mad asking for such a thing.

Anyone any idea's where I could get hold of some?

Cheers,
Russ

Doh

The 463. Failed.
Nearside headlamp. Seal has failed and it's got condensation in it. Maybe able to separate glass and re-seal. If not Golf headlamp req.

Nearside rear brakes binding slightly (knew that just hadn't got round to sorting it)

And thats it. Relatively painless these given how "dedicated" testers are.

Tester did comment that he had not worked on a G before and how well engineered they were :D

If the headlight adjustment system still works then reseal might be possible with araldite. If not then just get the golf one. I have completely stripped off all the level adjuster system
