I think you'll need to provide a chassis number for anyone to be able to help you with parts...MB might be the easiest source of the parts, and sometimessss they're not as dear as you'd expect.

Out of curiosity, how long did you drive it with low oil? 10k? 20k? 50K??

There is no other source for that than MB, and it depends what parts have you broken to assess the price.

And labour charges are going to make that a financial nightmare... I would have asked before sending the transferbox to the garage. You could find this in some breaker's yard in Germany, or German Ebay, for a fraction of what you're going to end up paying.
