stand in line....
i will check my diary......
fish killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well just let loose the Poles to attack Beryl with the clean water rather than the brown stuff from the weekends jolly lovely job. picked up a few wounds though :(
and everyone was wondering how mine got so scratched on our oxon borders trips! this one was down right harmless in comparison! at least you didn't have to content with driving with both mirrors folded in at the same time due to the width of the trail....
mate, this was all set up by mark and maxwell :?
maxwell feels good now that he is not the only bloke with battle scars :(
thank god my wife hasnt noticed the ones i picked up on sunday.
anyway, the best thing to do is visit your local halfrauds and get some meguiars scratchx and meguiars nxt next generation 2.0.
apply the scratchx to the wounded area with a yellow sponge meguiars applicator sold in packs of 2.[they are washable too] in a straightline overlapping motions, use a bit of elbow and dont worry because the product does not contain any abrasive diminishers and so will not scratch or marr the paint like all other compounds or t-cuts. keep working in the scratchx until it turns from white to 'opaque' colour. then wipe it off using a microfibre cloth. then use the nxt polish, its a great product for beginners and the results will simply shock you!!!!!
at least beryl is a light colour unlike ruby....... :(
after all this moaning, would i do it again.....? f*ck, yes mate :!: :!: :P
the video clips i have of the fish is brilliant:
good luck fish killer!
come on keep going, we must be able to get ten pages out of a mornings lanes , then the cleaning .... :D
Twodogs
hi cliff :P never noticed that it was 9 pages :!:
we are on to a record mate......
if someone starts talking about the fish killer this thread will enter 20 pages plus....
in a straightline overlapping motions, use a bit of elbow
Parallel with the scratches or perpendicular?
And Twodogs you're just jealous because you weren't there!
Also I take no credit for the battle scars and smiles. It was all Mark's idea.
As for the next one Mark and I have been talking about the Peak District but the guide definitely says "expect body damage." So yes this one was definitely tame. So are you still up for it?
:)
GWO picked up a few battle scars....
However had a chat with the 'Team Poles' and they will apply what ever I need, so its off down to halfords and see what we can do (although I will try it myself first!)
Fish Killer - (aka Shaun) any chance of getting some of the photo's that your friend took??

Shaun your avatar is very appropriate....
maxwell, parallel mate. about 4 pea sizes on the yellow pad and apply to about 1 footsquare area in left to right and then up and down motions of the sratch. if it dont come out the first time, try a second or third time and it should help.
if not succesful you will need a polisher machine which is more involved...
if success, then apply the nxt and be ready for a suprise!!
nicely put mark
ha ha - kisses it is!
but Hus you are avoiding the question. are you going on the body damaging trails or not? i'm sure spider will....
A GWagen without battlescars is like Posh Spice without botox...
