Finally got one!
Hi All,
Having been looking for the right G for around 2 years, reading this forum, pointedthree and searching autotrader I have finally brought home a G and I absolutely love it!!
Many of you will already be familiar with it as it was previously owned by a forum member so the only surprise will be the identity of the new owner - ME!
It's a 300TD SWB in midnight blue/black and i've thoroughly been enjoying driving it around for almost a month now and, I think I said this already - I absolutely LOVE IT! Even the misses loves driving it (although her time with it is being seriously rationed by myself for obvious reasons!)
Will be back soon to pick your brains about all sorts of tips and advice but for now, what with the soaring price of diesel, it's over to the Alternative Fuels forum ------------>
Chat soon!

Hi |Sav congratulations...health to enjoy... Must be LHD with a turbo or is it RHD with an aftermarket kit???
do all your friends love it ,love it or loathe it you dont go unnoticed in a g.my sons friends think i am ex sas since g ownership
So where are the pics so i know what to look out for?
Where in N London are you? That makes 4 G300 TDs in North London (if you include Geoffrey's). And I only know of three other G300 TDs in the UK.
Haven't got around to photographing it yet but will do soon...although I'm sure you know the car well.
I'm in Crouch End, didn't know there were so few 300TD's in the UK!!
We've had this conversation before haven't we.... me being dumb.
Well as they were never officially imported into the UK the only ones here have pretty much be brought in privately for the most part.
Don't think I do know your G. But I will keep my eyes open. I'm also on Stroud Green often enough...
I'm waiting for a nice sunny day to photograph the G in all it's shiny glory and will post pics.
The 500 rims compliment the G very nicely and Sav is short for Savas (as in the Turkish Savas with an 'sh' sound at the end!!).
