My local locksmith does not have any Mercedes blank keys.

I have tried Ebay etc. but cannot seem to find any listed.

Does anyone know where I can obtain blank keys?

Thanks

Re: Blank Key

Dealers can cut if you give serial number..

Hum perhaps not at 42 Euro each;

A 461 760 06 06 Description: KEY
Original German description: (SCHLUESSEL)
Weight (kg): 0.02
Official Price: 42.77

This is a 461 part .. but bet it is a 460 key too...

Re: Blank Key

Just thought I would try the main dealer to see the cost of a replacement key - £4.65. Yes, four pounds sixty five pence :D

Thats already cut for my car as well.

What £4.65 from the dealer!!! I’ve had the same problem no one could match the blanks so just ordered on from the Mercedes dealer I had to take my log book and driving license the said about 7 to 10 days, cost £25!! it hasn’t arrived yet they said the end of the week.

No... I don't think that's the case. I think it pays to shop around to avoid being ripped off by that stealer.... I had a 463 key cut by my local MB dealer in the UK a few years back and I paid GBP 3.65! Cheaper than in the high street...
