Hi all,
I am looking for the merc part number of the "supporters" witch are placed one on the back door and the other one on the body.(As on the image) :D

I do have the black one witch is on the body and the missing is the other one. Do they sell them separately?
Cheers Angelos

Re: Rear door parts

I ordered some of these just recently and I think that the numbers were:

A463 740 00 03 1x Rear Door Striker Plate
A463 743 01 03 1x Rear Door Plate

I hope that this helps.

Re: Rear door parts

I bought them as part of a bigger order from Sean at Eurotruck in the US.

Eurotruck 1

Eurotruck 2

Sean can get anything (so long as it is available); ships fast and at reasonable cost; and takes Paypal. Can't recommend him and Eurotruck enough.

Of course you might find that where you live you can do better prices but if you go the dealer here in Australia there is a 200% mark-up on the German retail price so we are forced to look elsewhere.

Prices in Greece are roughly the same as in Germany, I believe. So no point in ordering from abroad.

Re: Rear door parts

Jesus you have right,
the problem was that the merc dealer couldn't find the part number plus as the cars were built by the local factory ELBO (as very well know :D ) and the cars were sold for the local police they are not very keen on parts for the certain car because sould be ordered from germany. The meaning is that as the prices are almost the same as in German the profit is very low  I will let you know how much cost the set, how long time need to come in my hands.
Thanks Angelos

Yes, fit both parts in place but do not tighten bolts... leave then just loose enough to allow marginal movement of both parts.... then close back door carefully so that both parts adjust to each other and reopen door carefully and tighten bolts. All untoward noises coming from that area should immediately disappear...
