I got bored...........
Here are a few recent additions, shiny winch and my home made ladder racks to keep all ship shape in the back.
simon
wish i kept the bumper now, looking good mate, what make is the winch.
play with the steel rope first its alot cheaper than plasma to play with to start with. steel cables can be dangerous but not if the right steps are taken, rope sail etc.

Did you uprate the front springs? That winch and bumper combo with a decent length of steel rope must amount to a good few kilos extra on the snout.
Looks good; business like. What size are the boots?
hey simon,looking good mate
did that snorkel make a difference to the engine breathing better in extreme temperatures :?: any internal pics of fittings to show?
i intend on doing the same soon to my cab,(looks like the oem you have)
simon, you are right and i too thought in the same light until i got talking to guys on p3.
they know a thing or two about snorkels...
its not just a water wading issue, colr air from outside being drawn into your engine makes immense benifits in performance :!:
look into it simon, you will be happy to regain the power you lost from the extra weight and tires buddy
nice work
Simon,
Thank you for sharing the new changes you made to your Geländewagen.
Keep up the great work!
Respectfully,
James Van Thach
its a champion winch, read a few reviews seemed to be ok got the heavy duty one as its a 400:1 gearbox which is a mixture of planetry and eliptical, so it will be slow but delivers a good delivery of pulling power on all layers nearly full load right thru the range. will report back when I've used it in anger. only thing I may look at is a synthetic winch rope for safety.
cheers simon
