compass
has anyone tried to install a magnetic compass in their G wagens ?
Were you succesfull ? Inside the car seems to be a magnetic mine field :shock:
I cannot get proper readings anywhere even after compensating :shock:
I tried a ritchie powerboat compass
Take it to the Navy and get it "degaussed"
why would you possibly need one, you no your way to northern cyprus by now shirly
you could always get a GPS - it gives you your direction when moving.
dont you guys understand......he has seen that great big,fat,monstrous compass on that wolf G that looks lke a hummer,its that thread someone recently posted about military G's.

gps-all electronics can fail, compass is a quick fix for your heading
and good as a back up. i find them indispensable really when I am travelling. I use a hand held one in the car which works in certain locations
ie. parallel to my chest when I am sitting, but this static one just refuses to show the right direction. Ian mate this is not only good for Cyprus, but for beyond. North Africa. :wink: All the way to Egypt. Huss are you ready :?: 8)
