Whooaaa! The sun is so strong in the mediterranean countries for so many months in the year that the only time it's worth putting the hood down is during the night.
Yopu might be surprised to learn that the share of cabrio models in Germany and the UK (any car) is ten times that in Spain!
Mind you, all cars in Spain come with aircon as standard these days! 8)

Looks good mate..... nice and cheap roof...lol
thanks!
well i go out to n-cyprus in mid august and temps reach about 45 degrees  ,its not healthy or wise and i always have the hood down :!: plus the fact that theres alot of motorway travelling i do and the wind turbulence is strong which made the soft top a bit noisy.
i am however going to make a solid frame from an original copy and put a bikini top on it in the future, plus i like the design concept of your military roof rack cliff and hope to make something on those lines.
there are alot of pajero imports on the island that came with high qaulity aluminium roof racks,a few are knocking about here and there and i will be adapting one to fit through the hardtop and fix onto the rigid frame
i have a few ideas in my mind including fitting the aircon blower i won on ebay and fitting front and rear late model 463 bumpers i purchased off gavin blackwood
(cheers gavin for bringing them to my doorstep!)
