Of all the 'bars' I have seen on a G,I still havnt seen one that really looks good.
On the other hand,Ive seen plenty on a RR that look cool.

I know my experience with G's is limited,So I would please like some links or pics of bars that suit the front of a G.
There was a link here to a guy who was moding his G and he made his own...that was mean and I liked it compared to all the ones Ive seen so far.

Maybe the G's front is not really suited to one,but Im sure if someone wanted to design something,Im sure one with a bit of meaness and class could be had.

So.. some pics of animal killing ,pedestrian mowing metal hugging front protectors.

You don't find the factory bar appealing? To me that one looks good - though I generally don't care for them.

Yea,not bad. But side on,even in the photo, the surrounds going over the lights...the whole section looks like its going slightly up higher.
This has to be perception, but it doesnt look right.
And compared to how many RR's have that look beefy and have an artist symmetry about them,Im surprised that Mercedes or after marketers havnt dont something about this.

then Im afriad your choice is very limited, options are the above, after market one, which aint so nice, or buy a range rover, as the bar looks good.

Well, you know the saying about opinions and backsides, don't you?

I am not going to discuss this matter...

scouse, thanks for your understanding. I remember being out on the Nullabour plains. 2 weeks before that, someone was killed trying to miss a roo. The 4X4 had an a really good bull bar and should have just hit the bloody thing and she would have been alright. Rolled of into a ditch.

Also on the same road I ran out of fuel and a truck road train driver stopped and gave me a ride to the nearest fuel stop.

Whilst getting this ride a roo jumped out while we were doing 60mph and you wouldnt have even know that we hit it. Thats how good the bull bar was on that thing...although a broken bone has been known to punture a tyre.

it's dead easy, think about it.......... a gorgeous roo bar that will withstand a 300 kilo roo..... at 60 mph ? all you can knock down in london is a pigeon,a banker, wot else?.......

Don't forget tourists... i almost hit one. A common Americanus Touristus - didn't look while crossing the road, then froze like a dear in the headlights when she heard my ABS going into overdrive. I was going over 40mph and I kid you not the G stopped with about 50 cm to spare.

Incidentally I did read something once about bull/nudge/roo bars causing more damage to the vehicle than not having them in many cases.
