Is there much difference between part prices from PUCH and Mercedes?

It occured to me that I have never seen this question answered on any of the G boards?

Anybody got first hand experience?

Found any Puch dealers recently ?
I buy my bits through Mercedes Benz, and that is 50 miles away.

Every thing on a Puch has a 3 pointed star including the operators hand book, excluding the badge on the grill

Re: Parts prices PUCH or Mercedes?

Abounding on the subject, I believe that in 2000 Steyr-Puch (or Magna Steyr by then) declined the privilege of badging all the GWagens it sold in Austria, Switzerland and a number of other countries as Puch. Therefore, from that year, all GWagens were to be sold in these countries were to be sold from Mercedes dealerships as in any other part of the world.

Also, the fact that Magna Stey leased the manufacturing rights of the Pinzgauer to Automotive Technik Limited (now Pinzgauer UK) meant that the former Puch garages in Austria and Switzerland had not much to do henceforth.

I am sure that you can still find them selling Puch parts but at such price that it makes your Mercedes stealership a bargain.
