sounds like an old transit
Can't beat a race round the local tip on a Sunday morning :D
It has been known for Gs to be fitted with other diesel engines, Nissan Toyota even LR, but one sounded more like a 280 with no silencer.
I personally knew all three Gs
There are two SWBs and one LWB.
Both SWBs fitted with the n/a OM617. The LWB has a standard OM617 with an fitted turbo.
Nothing special under the sun!
Except no silencers
The old 300GD goes very well off road..

So how long have off road demolition derby’s been popular in Spain  :?
Was it against the clock or was the speed and front wheels dangling in the air just standard Mediterranean driving :D

 Well Russ, unless you have been practising with the Gay off-road drivers' club  I don't understand what is strange about that video... it's standard offroad driving in private, closed land
been practising with the Gay off-road drivers' club
And whats wrong with that, the smell of axle grease and burnt clutch can be quite intoxicating, Oh and men in wellie's I am Welsh after all
Seriously I’ve tackled more extreme situations with far less drama (even in things I don’t own) it’s the engineer in me constantly calculating the stresses/risks involved I guess
Put a 300GD offroad and its a different bear completey to on road ...
try one some time :D
