No snow to report here down south :cry:
But we had a fair share of it a couple of weeks ago when a group of G-Wagen owners decided to attempt the crossing of the Puerto de la Quesera, a mountain road near Madrid which the authorities never bother to clean up when it snows.
For the second year in succession, we failed to complete the crossing. Snow was more than a metre high and most of the Gs did not even have chains.
When the night fell on us, the temperature dropped from 1º to -8.5 and we decided to call it the day. But we had a lot of fun. Ah! and the guy you see eating a chorizo sandwich is me wearing trainers!
This is only a selection of the seventy-something pictures I took on the day...
yeh hes mine, great dog with kids but still gives the look when people arent sposed to turn up. he wasnt happy with the lack of rabbits in the field yesterday. i was thinking of an orc lift hussain, but that will ruin its lap time on the nordschleife!
as for you morty, looks like you had some real proper snow, chains the lot!

i will be crossing through europe in 2009 and hope to drop by on my way to cyprus when i hopefully immigrate.

At least this year we had a fantastic day as far as the weather is concerned. Last year, in contrast, the weather was dismal (seven hours below 0 and a freezing wind). In addition to this, the road had no protections :shock: :shock: :shock: and you could see your pride and joy roll down the hill into the abyss.
Natural selection dictated that the only two cars to reach the top pf the pass were Gs, but we failed to drive down the other side of the pass, as usual.

Twodogs Safety warning !!! Always , allways. allway, push your hi-lift/jackel jack handle into the upright poistion when in use . :shock: or broken bones can ocure.
