What has happened to Mayfair Mercedes Benz?
I have just been told its been closed down, havent been down that part of town for a while, any light on the matter?
Hi - I was there a couple of weeks ago and I recall there is a sign on the door saying that export and diplomatic are on floor four of some building in (I think) Ealing
I have an email address for someone who used to be there -I'll try it and see whether they are still in business importing new G Wagens

MB Mayfair was closed because Maybach and SLR sales were transferred to MB World at Brooklands. DCUK could not justify 2 flagship sites. :(
Has anyone had their G round the off road course at Brooklands? It is quite something although I have only driven an ML420CDI and GL500 round it, not a proper off roader!!!
Most of the staff moved up to Brooklands but such an impressive facility, it has no soul. The place has the atmosphere of an empty museum most of the time
I forgot to mention. If you have any enquiry about importing a new G let me know and I can feed it back to DCUK via email.

Yes it is well worth the trip, not sure whether its is a fancy dealership or a customer facility. You can organise a testdrive on the off road circuit in a vehicle of your choice from the current range, but if you approached them they may let us use our own vehicles on the circuit. New CL is on display currently (not launched until March 1st in UK)

That new cl looks similar to the bm coupe in the magazines.

In the flesh it is very different. Like the current S, it has real presence. Demos arrive next week so it will not be long till you see them on the road.
Any idea where I would pick up a full set of clear lenses for the 463? Would also like a set of 18" AMG Alloys if anyone knows of any.

I received an email from Mayfair that tax free and hence G sales have been moved to Park Royal - I will try and dig out the details.

cheers. Thats what iw as thinking, they are the only reliable importer for G's imo, they said nothing when i was there before.
Surely thats a bad customer base to lose, I know they have other London dealers, but people who pop in their are usually the type that tick every option box etc etc.
