Re: koni shocks on order!

I have Koni heavy tracks on the back, but HOW do you adjust them as those picture instructions useless?
I have now sussed this, rear ones you just compress to max and turn whilst under compression, they seemed ok as standard for the 1st 1000miles but recently started pitching  tho having upped the damping by 50% seem a lot better.

Re: koni shocks on order!

Thought I'd add to this old thread. I've bought two new front Koni Heavy track shocks. My car came from the factory with stronger than normal front springs. They have been replaced with same strength new front springs. They seem a bit too long for my liking and I want to lower the car a bit. Anyway.. I've asked all over but never got a reply...Can someone measure the height of the ground to wheel arch of their 463.

Is a G500,G55,63 etc. a bit lower than the 'normal' G300,G400,350 etc?

I have 18inch Ashtaroths fitted which I love but want to get the stance right when I cut springs and fit new shocks and need a comparison.

Thanks

Del

Has anyone bought any  Konis this year from Camberley Auto Factors, if so did you get them for a good price?

Re: koni shocks on order!

I called them 1st. Their prices were way off the best i found. About 20% more.

I bought 2no. Koni Heavy track fronts (NOT the RAID VERSIONS) for £230 inc. postage from DC Performance. Part number is 8240-1196SPX . Not fitted yet but they're very heavy and chunky. I'm mainly driving on-road so thought these would be fine. I have good things to say about Koni shcoks. They are very very hard to compress and extend by hand so feel right. Should fit them soon.
