Do Touareg wheels fit ours??
Have heard it said that the Touareg\Cayenne wheels fit our G's.
Short of getting my hands dirty and trying these bad boys on, does anyone know?
If so, it greatly expands our choices for wheels.
p.s. The wheels are now off, and depending on the answers to this, will be for sale. 22" with as new Hankooks.
Martin try looking for Toe Rag wheels on ebay, they usually have a fitment guide. or just ask one of the seller shops
i've heard it said that petrol toe rag rims fit the mighty G
I've found a web site which lists PCD of different cars and also supply adaptor spacers, G wagons are 130/5 as is porcshe and some toe rags

Yes, the Porsche 928 wheels will fit a G... but are the Touareg ones similar? Does the central hole in the rim clear the lip of the hub?
the G wheel center is 84.1mm, I've not found any reference to toe rag or porcshe rims.
The wheels from a petrol toe rag will fit not diesels
The wheel center needs 7 mm removing on a lathe to fit the G
The offset is close to the 460 G with standard 18 inch tyres you can fit them onto a 460 without wheel arches.
I have pictures if some one can show me how to send them

here is my 460 . 9 G WAGEN
Here is my 460 .9 G with toe rag wheels I had to fit wheel spacers when I fitted the wide arches
Without the arches and spacers wheels fit within the wheel arch
ok tell us about the bumper and side steps  :?:
The original Idea had been to update the G and fit 463 bumpers but as they are quite rare and costly it was decided to replicate them out of sheet steel, with a little customisation.
The profiles are all 463 with some added depth to give ( in my opinion ) a better look.
The G needed the rear light panels and there were a few rotton areas on the sill, the rest of the G was solid
The rear panels were replaced with 463 items including the relocation of the petrol flap to the rear o/s wing.
Again I wanted side steps for the G and again OE side steps were costly, it was easier to make the new fabricated sills wider and provide a solid step, with added bonus of protection when in off road situations.
The rear lights have been changed to clear lens LED items from the states not 463 items, the plan is to fit fog lights in the front bumper when I find the correct ones and fit a V8 engine
The interior has been retrimed in red leather with recaro front seats (non original G spec ) will up lode more pics later.
Last but not least the bumpers and sills were fabricated by our good freind Mark at Vulture trading .

Questions:
1) What is a toe rag? (excuse my ignorance!)
2) Why Marky has kept so much for himself that he could fabricate bumpers and sills?
3) Who did the mirrors and how?

1 ) Toe Rag = VW Touareg, apparently a most excellent vehicle
2 ) ???

Thanks to all who replied.
Got the lazy head off and offered them up.
Nope, as someone previously reported, the centre "hole" is too small...not even close. pity that.
