Has anyone got photos of the factory fitted side steps & the various after market side steps that could be fitted to a SWB 463 ?

After a couple of weeks of ownership my wife has stated she HAS to have side steps so she can get in & out with the kids

The originals are the nuts, but at a price! mine were fitted when i brought it so i guess i was lucky.I removed the side steps off my 280GEL and hope to stumble across the 463 steps soon(its christmas!).I will also be bringing back the 463 nudge bar i had removed off my cabrio cos of the law in cyprus against fitting them and hope to fit it on the 280 when i return.

These are the ones fitted to my G nice and easy to keep clean, and you can remove them from the brackets in about 5 mins if you need more ground clearance.

Re: Side steps - photos?

I didnt fit them I think they are the original ones from 1991. There are two brackets each side with a couple of bolts each on the chassis, If you buy new ones they should come with fitting instructions to be sure where to attach as they do take a fair bit of weight when people launch off these to get in and out. Cheers Alex
