Re: OT: Fernando Alonso

Fernando had better enjoy the lime light while he can, his career could well be a lot shorter than M Schus. there has been no promising young drivers coming up for a few years but now there is a long list.
Nelson Piquiet Jnr.
Ernesto Viso.
Bruno Senna.
Mike Conway.
Yelmer Burman.
The Mansell Brothers.
Oliver Jarvis.
The Earl of Arundel.
Charlie Bird.
I have seen these guys race and beleave me the future for motor sport is exciting, but may not be for F1. A1 GP could be the race to watch.

Re: OT: Fernando Alonso

if valentino comes into the fray it will be very interesting, he is very competetive and when he tested with ferrrari within a few hours he was closing in on schus fastest lap at the test track and thats not even on his own set up. be nice for him to upset the spanish in another sport! (no offence intended jesus)

Yes, Tom I hear what you say but I think that this was just a PR stunt made by the Italians to see an Italian driving a Ferrari. I tell you, Rossi has nothing to prove in Moto GP and if he was any good in Formula 1 he'd jump on to it! Unfortunately the days of My John Surtees -a Brit and the one man to be a world champion in both F1 and motorbikes- are long gone. Now to be a world class driver or rider you have to communicate with your motor in a way that only specialization can bring.

Re: OT: Fernando Alonso

Actually Bill ,
Now that you mention it, yon photographer almost missed capturing him in action, this judging by the look on Fernando,s face. lol:
Maby I should stay at home this Haloween, ie. not go to Spain as arranged.

stepping away from those spanish shirt lifters,

what do people think about jenson b's performance next year, will he be able to keep the pressure on when these people have moved teams?
