i hate to say it but i think land rover were on to something with bolt on panels all round!!!!

decided to do thode little niggly rust patches on the rear quarter just in front of the rear wheel, so i got my little brass brush out and started to clean it up when all of a sudden two small holes appeared in the panel! this wouldnt be too bad but i work in gods garage, now torn between replacing or filling!?

Me? I cut out around the rust - nice big around it into clean metal, spray everything inside with waxoyl and then weld in a stainless steel plate with stainless weld, smooth over, special primer and then paint...lasts forever 8)
