bad g day......................
is it me or does everyone sometimes wonder why i own a 22 year old g!?

Sounds like you really did have a bad day - what happened? :?
decided to do thode little niggly rust patches on the rear quarter just in front of the rear wheel, so i got my little brass brush out and started to clean it up when all of a sudden two small holes appeared in the panel! this wouldnt be too bad but i work in gods garage, now torn between replacing or filling!?
Me? I cut out around the rust - nice big around it into clean metal, spray everything inside with waxoyl and then weld in a stainless steel plate with stainless weld, smooth over, special primer and then paint...lasts forever 8)
