can somebody tell me which oils and grades to use for:

diffs

tranfer box

gearbox

going to get them done before winter arrives.

Also is there any reason why you cant fit a standard grease nipple to the sliding part of the drive shafts to make life easier? as they have those recessed buggers on at present.

cheers Simon

None whatsoever. Visit any agricultural supplies shop, get yourself proper nipples and fite them. Dead easy

Re: what oils for the boxes...........

right been and got my oil, they have given me:

ep90 for the diffs as they say this is hypoid?
ep80 for the tranfer box as they said this is the same if not better than normal gear oil
And ATF 3 fluid

Do these sound right?

Yes Simon,
as long as the Nos are the same I think you are Ok, ep or EP to my knowledge simply stands for extreme pressure, and your auto box is "bog standard" so there should be no problems there.
Cheers,
