and its in with the G's? After whats been said on here about mercedes wanting to seperate the two models they end up with eachother on autotrader.

anyone on here been tempted by one? .

I test drove one here in France and was quite impressed, much better than the ML, dont want to say too much as I am putting it in the magazine

I've been tempted; will definitely take it for a test drive. They are much more affordable than a new G. And if we want to play we’ll still have the little 230.

Second hand 500 here we go again. If only I could get a RHD 400.
I can see I'm going to end up driving my 230 for the next 50 years!

LHDs are not a problem. I have one and don't notice the difference.

I had a look around one at the Newbury show on Saturday. V6 3.2 diesel and lots of goodies all for around £57K. Still out of my price range but a lovely looking motor, if you like that sort of thing. Access to rear through back door seemed a bit restricted. Carry far bulkier loads in your G.
