Moving post
Who the person with nothing better to do than move peoples posting around, lots of people including committee members get frustrated about having to search for there post each time they log on?
Whos cares if its not in exactly the right place?
My last post about new propshaft was moved to mods when readlly if any other place it should have been drive train!
So it must be someones personal choice rather than putting them in the right place!
No wonder this web sites going down hill so fast!!
But Piggysims, -- it was a MODIFICATION to the drivetrain !
Though in truth I sometimes find it difficult to decide where is the most appropriate place to "post"
Marcus
If only it were just posts being moved!! :D
Half mine get "weeked" out, and I am far from being the most controversial on here!!.
As for the website going down hill? Peaks and troughs. Amid all the banter, post a serious question or cry for help and the core good folk are still there....the silent majority.
If they weren't then i'd be forced to agree....... bless them!
Read over that, "weeked", is probably a Norn Iron or Belfast colloquialism, meaning removed. So as to avoid confusion.
Marcus, you know what I mean?
Took me a while to figger that one out Martin, though at first it was some sort of time delay mechanism !!
BUT
You actually mean " wheeked oot" which I understand to mean "thrown out/pulled out so fast you did not even see it/feel it go.
I recall Billy Connolly referring to a "jobbie wheeker" being used on airlines for turd disposal, so its Ulster Scots.
PS
Are your arms not going to get sore flying to America ?, as apparently this is quicker than waiting in the "Q"s' for security clearance.
Cheers,
Marcus
Well if you posted in the appropriate places they wouldn't get moved would they? Or else what's the point in having sections? Plus how is anybody else who is browsing the forums and needs help on a similar issue to find anything?
And no the movement was not subjective as it was a custom modification and certainly not General Technical where it was posted.
Consider it lenient many forums lock down or delete posts in the wrong category.
As for finding them look at a listing of your last posts in your profile.
Buckalec - the only posts that get deleted are ones that are abusive to others, have been proven to breach copyright (ie contain a photo or story) by the original copyright owner, are spam, flaming, gratuitous self promotion (advertising), contain links to porn, etc etc... in other words the same posts that would get deleted on any public other forum. So what did you post that was so bad that it got deleted...
Is there an index available so one knows where to post what?
Is there an index available so one knows where to post what?
What kind of question is that? Go to the Main Menu, and under "GWOA Community" click "GWOA Forums"and you will be presented with the index to the forums.
Well you answered it !
