You should try this part of france in the winter last yr we have that sort of snow and it stayed for 2weeks, this yr only about 6"for a couple days trouble was minus 15 during the day though Brrr
we had similar for a few weeks on brecons! have permafrost here in august !! :lol:

Had 6 weeks watching russian navy from norwegen high ground coz of satalite probs, feb-march in tents at -27`C.
