Event calandar
Hello all could you pleasehelp me! i have only been a member for 8 weeks, So i would like to go on some trips with the old gwagon.
When i look at the event calendar i didnt see any events listed ie eastnor castle or Duxford this weekend. i would very much like to meet
some members too.Hope you can help many thanks michael
Greetings Michael, welcome aboard. You just have to keep your ear to the ground I am afraid it's very much the grape vine, Keep your eye on the forum and you will see these things popping up.
Duxford is a military aircraft museum primarily and is part of the Imperial War Museum, there is also a land warefare hall and this Sunday it is hosting a military vehicle display at which I will be displaying both of my cold war G wagens there will be a couple of other guys with me with their Gs to lend a hand, It is interesting if you are interested if you know what I mean and will be a good way to touch base with and get to know a few guys from the club Snodland is a fair old trek so bear in mind that I will be at Beltring later in the year. and also Detling. Beltring or Hop garden is the biggest military show in the world and has an excellent off road course that gets really chewed up by tanks.
i will re thing about Duxford, asDetling and the hop gardens [paddock wood] are so close to me. i have been to the Detling miletary show it was very good. Hope to see you at one of the shows soon

Bill how was duxford?
Sorry i could not make it 75 miles in a hot g wagon and still getting over my op! not a good idea. Would still like to meet up sometime so will keep looking on the website
