Off roading day + Meet - for the Irish!!
Hi Folks,
looks like we may have an off roading day possibility for not this Sunday but next... Sunday 21st May 2006.
In conjunction with the 4 by 4 club of N.I. @ Ballynahinch... Co.Down.
Have been in contact with a commitee member who assures me, this course will be NON-DAMAGING!! so a good opportunity to see what your girl can do without repair bills.
I'll know more over the next few days.....
Please try to make it, if only to spectate, or chat.

Posted already in Ireland section, but some members are as yet unable to access or non members can come along too. I'll be bringing along an off roader - so you can have a go (subject to the course clerks ok)

Hi all,
This day IS going ahead for all that want to attend. NO obligation to participate.... but feel free to do if you wish. Opportunity as usual to put faces to names and have a bit of craic.

And the locality is Ballynahinch. The site is approximately 1\3 mile from SPA golf Club, off the Dromara road. Postcode for those with fancy Sat Navs BT24 8JL.
I'll be there with at least 2 G's from 9:30 in the morning.
The organisers are kindly setting up the course with our vehicles in mind.... so you'll not be expected to scrape thru an opening for a Suzuki!!
There will be "red arrows" to help locate site + I'll have my mobile on to help guide people in. (PM if you don't already know it)
Try to get along....... Opportunities for off roading on this Island are all too rare!!

Thanks to all that turned up today, in what turned out to be an unpleasant one weather wise!
Especial thanks to Fergus and Sinead, all the way from Dublin in their Sprinter engined 463 (pictured). Hope to see you both again.
A total of 7 "G"s showed, best turn out so far, Colins' newly turbo'd and intercooled SWB keeping up appearances on behalf of all the "G"s, against some stiff opposition from the dreaded L***ies!!, on the course.
Thanks too to Peter and Nick, once again for your expertise and running repairs!!
