Hello all,
having this evening removed my fuel sender unit, the float inside is reluctant to move. I did read in the forum somewhere (anybody know where) that it is possible to remove the silver casing and clean inside. Can anybody help? Also just a bit curious as to what the three pipes on top of the sender are.

Regards Vic b.

Vic b again.
All a lot clearer now, the small nut at the base can be removed and the top and bottom white plastic covers prized apart..... To reveal much c**p. Hope this helps somebody else. Also the third intewrnal fine copper wire is broken. As my low fuel light has never worked correctly I guess this is the cause. Anybody tried to fix one?
