Has purple changed names then? Would explain why I haven't seen a purple truck in ages when my street is normally littered with them - something like 4 studios include Nick Mason's on less than a 100m of street might explain it.

280GEL 1986. A bit scabby but my favourite. It’s got the rubber mat interior so suits it’s purpose perfectly. When it gets too dirty you just get the hose pipe in there. Try that with a G55 or Range Rover!
Toyota Avensis D4D T Spirit (company car). Slooooooooooow and so rough above 3K rpm that blood comes out of your ears. But 60mpg. What can you say………it keeps your arse from dragging along the road and that’s about it.

scouse g - i gave the girlfriend the heveho and now plan to buy another car or bike with the savings. as Jay Leno says, its cheaper to have 35 cars and 1 wife than to have 1 car and 35 wives.

yes the three directors had a fall out and dissolved the buisness, and now i own it, well and the bank, but much better now all the shit has gone. Shame though the name was well known and noticed so had to think of something else eye catching so Go-Truck [i]Yourself was a good choice. :wink:

certainly is Bill - thanks to you!! Took it to Bicester yesterday and no problems but it did turn sideways with one rear wheel locked when I met a learner driver on the wrong side of a country road - do you think that rear brake bias thingy could have fallen off again??

Is one of the 200's one that was recently sold on ebay?
I have a soft spot for audi's as well, came close to getting a 200 turbo avant 7 seater. Could have been the only 7 seater in the UK i guess. chickened out in the end, even with a box file full of service history running in to the high £20K's it still seemed a pretty risky buy. Still see it around but looking a little taty now.

There is to the best of my knowledge no such thing as a G280 or G230 - however there are 280Gs and 230Gs. As for G300s there are not a lot in the UK.... many more 300Gs.
300 GDS 460 1988 with non intercooled turbo (redistributer of oil device actually :shock: .. probably worth 10hp :? )
Eunos Roadster 1994 J Ltd with FM2 turbo (about 240 hp in 1 ton makes the G rather slow :twisted: .. (this is a grey Mazda MX5))
Lancia Fulvia Coupe S3 1975 (off road and not SORNed for a few years so who knows!)
