should i by the car as it is for 27000 euro and with 220.000 kms?
Hi Andro,
If its broken, it can be fixed!!
Depends how much you require the lower ratio? To rack up that many miles in such a period of time must mean motorway mileage. I wouldn't worry too much. As for the faulty gearbox, use it as a bargaining tool.
As for the price, it is worth what someone will pay, but if you go ahead, you'll have easily one of the freshest "g"s on the island.
Keep us all informed!!
Cheeers
I would advise caution. that is over 100 000 Kms PA and with a faulty H/L box why bother when there are plenty available better. Just keep looking don't rush
Hi Andro,
Does Marius still own A638TPO? I would love to see up todate pictures of the car!
Have a word with Fred on 0131 226 7107 Edinburgh. He has a 270 cdi low mileage truck for sale...goes like a ROCKET.

Nice to hear from a previous owner. This is the one, I believe that Fred is selling it too, so if you want a third G it's yours

Hehe - don't tell the wife! She misses still!!!
I bought it from a guy in Cambridge in 2004 (can't remember the name) - he'd fitted a Candini chip and it went very well - with good MPG still. Nik Wheelhouse bought it from me and sold it to a guy who colourcoded the bumpers (first time I've seen it with this done) - looks much nicer. I think Nik hen bought it back and sold it to someone in Scotland? I heard it might be for sale again - problem is I've fallen for that V8 diesel.
The passenger seat is brand new - I made the BIG mistake of ordering the 'heated seat element replacements' only to find out it was a grand and a complete replacement of the seat base!!! :(
She was a gem of a car - nice to see her around.

The current owner is Fred from Scotland.
There are a few 400CDIs in the UK, awesome power. You must bring it to the next gathering, there was 1 at the recent wales trip

Cool - just let me know when and where - can't wait to see other G's - I can only ever remember seeing the blue LWB in Harrogate and a dark coloured LWB (might have been the same one!) heading the other way up the M1 last month - never seen another G over here :(

Was he a Mr Colin Lamb, then a GWOA member? If so he had bought the car new from GWagen Centre Holland. He once showed me the paperwork and I remember test driving the G at the 4x4 Show at Beaulieu a few years back! Nice motor!
i own it know.i will send you pictures when i am back in romania next week
