Eric's G55
Just saw Eric Clapton's G55 today (not a Kompressor). Nice machine though it had a bit too much bling in the way of chrome.
But the stereo... it alone is probably worth more than most Gs out there in the UK. A cool £30,000....
was it left or right hand drive?

Vaguely remember that Eric got this as his fee for an American commercial. (For G Wagen)
He wanted it in RHD, but there were no more left!! So poor him, had to settle for a Leftie.
Hope I have got this right, a little fuzzy - its an age thing!

were was it?
Strangely I can't seem to remember that many details. Can't remember whether it was LHD or RHD. I think RHD but could be wrong. Can't even remeber the colour other than thinking it was quite nice - I think it was a greyish copper colour.
The chrome everywhere was distracting me... even had the chrome bar under the front spoiler....
Was at Caversham for some repairs to the stereo...
