I've had two G's since 1990 and driven the length but not the breadth of the country in them, over 200,000 miles, and what I want to know is why has nobody seen me?

Have I an invisibe G?

I've given up cleaning and washing 'cos nobody notices me. I'm letting myself go a bit when I should be making more of an effort as age and gravity takes it's toll.

It's all your fault. Come on, a whistle of acknowledgement once is all that'd be necessary to lift my spirits.

Quercus,
Not relevent to this post at all, but that signature aphorism of yours troubles me, as I generally only get into trouble as a result of " thinking at a higher level" -- that is if I left well enough alone I generally would not find myself in trouble in the first place.
