What brand of compressor did they fit. Was it all afetr amrket stuff. I was quoted 2700 quid severals years ago for a 463. Yours is a good price
Popped round to see you on Saturday Roly but you weren't in, so where were you???.
I guess the difference in the 463 is that it's intergrated so a fair amount of work is involved inside.

compressor is a japanese made- they are fitted to land rovers as well i will get the brand name later. it has separeta fan motors (X2) it is not integrated into the cars heating ventilation at all . blower unit is attached to the centre console in the middle
it is quiet powerfull. youcan modify one of the rear heater pipes and fit it onto the blower unit so you can have aircon at the rear as well but i have not done it. simpler is better.
