probably just a little less than a V8 G wagen but not much 14mpg with a steady right foot.
If you are interested get the owner to show some pics because that pic in the add was before it did 3 africa trips;-)

 Fourteen mpg seems very good. I've read the guys's blog, he had a lot of fun in the bus !!

Much as I fancy it, it's come up at the wrong time for me. If  it's still around in six months time I might be interested.

I think it's been for sale a while. Verify the fuel consumption with him because it depends on so many variables. I've seen unimogs in the dunes and they are very good.

and don't forget it will run just as well on veg, red, heating or kerosene

in the UK, only if registered as agricultural:-) and within the limits set down - which can be within a few miles of home!!!

It'll go faster, but not further on kerosine - it burns the pistons eventually but merc say max 50% with red or white diesel is ok.

That says permanent 4WD?  .. are LBW/Square 'mogs permanent.. my 406 is 460 like.. except all diff locks come in at once.

 Not 100% sure, but I don't think the 435's are permanent 4x4.
Still, you'd like to think they know what their selling.
