WOULD ANYBODY KNOW WHERE MY G STARTED OUT, ITS LWB RED 300GD WITH ELETRICK WINDOWS FRONT AND BACK. FACTORY PTO FITTED WDB46033327061688. I LIVE IN IRELAND THE G WAS IMPORTED IN 1997, AND WAS REGISTERED TO ROCKWOOD CONTINENTAL 9 ESHER ROAD HEREHAM WALTON ON THAMES KT124JZ. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW ITS LIFE IN ENGLAND AND WHY IT WAS FITTED WITH A PTO THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS NEVER USED. THANKS.

Re: WHERE DID MY G COME FROM

Hi

Yes its a 1988 UK spec 5 speed 300GD LWB 2850mm in Carmine Red 3535 (Ral3002) with sales code N03 Transfer Case PTO and also has alloy wheels, wide arches and it is quite well specified for a "working" vehicle, ie Becker Europa with 6 speaker system etc.

There are no special build data notes listed on the MB systems and MBUK have no service or warranty records listed on the vehicle although it does show up on their systems?

Looks like it may have been some kind of demo model that has not been used in anger?

Gav

Could you post a few pics of the G? Always interesting to see a special one. Is the PTO just bolted to the transferbox and no other connection?
